Cosmic XR is designed to provide an immersive mixed reality astronomy experience without collecting your personal data.
Information We Collect
Cosmic XR does not collect, transmit, sell, or store personal information. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or BRDY Studios cloud storage.
Hand Tracking and Passthrough
When you use hand tracking or passthrough features, the Meta Quest platform processes the sensor data required for those features. Cosmic XR uses the resulting platform inputs only to provide interaction and mixed reality visuals during your session. BRDY Studios does not receive or store camera imagery, room scans, or raw hand tracking data.
Local App Data
Settings and progress may be stored locally on your device. You can remove this local data by deleting the app, subject to platform-level backups or settings controlled by Meta.
Platform Services
Distribution, purchases, entitlement, device services, and platform diagnostics are provided by Meta and are governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
Cosmic XR does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians should use the parental controls and age requirements provided by the Meta Quest platform.
Changes to This Policy
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
